This recipe demonstrates how information in RSS 2.0 and Atom 1.0 Web feed can be retrieved.

Examples of Web feed:
RSS - http://api.flickr.com/services/feeds/photos_public.gne?format=rss2
Atom - http://api.flickr.com/services/feeds/photos_public.gne

Steps taken:

  1. Create an XML datasource.
  2. Fill in the Web feed link for RSS or Atom into “DataSource Wizard > URL”.
  3. Set the Input Format as “HTML Parsed into XML”.
