This recipe demonstrates how to display CRLF characters using tabular datasource and report template.

Steps taken:

  1. Create a tabular datasource (CRLF.ds). Add columns and enter tabular values.
  2. Create a report template and add the “ADDRESS” field into the blank area of “Detail”.
  3. Upon loading data, the datasource will not display the CRLF characters. Upon rendering, the report will be able to display CRLF characters in the output.
