Known Issues and Patches in ERS 7.1
- Render Report Template with Parameters to Target via ERSClient
Problem Description:
Rendering a report template contain parameters via the ERSClient API to a configured Target failed with the error message below.
Error Message:

Patch Resolution:
To resolve this, please following the instruction carefully.
- Stop your ERS Server ( if it’s currently running )
- Download patch-7.1.0-02.jar ( DO NOT change the name of this jar file )
- Drop this jar into the 7.1.0 server /lib directory ( DO NOT drop this jar in the /ext folder )
- Start your ERS Server
- MediaSize is overriding the MediaTray
Problem Description:
The printer tray that was specified doesn’t get used.
Problem Addressed:

If OrientationRequired is already specified, then don’t override it

If MediaTray is already specified then don’t set MediaSize
Patch Resolution:
To resolve this, please following the instruction carefully.
- Stop your ERS Server ( if it’s currently running )
- Download patch-7.1.0-01.jar( DO NOT change the name of this jar file )
- Drop this jar into the 7.1.0 Server /lib directory ( DO NOT drop this jar in the /ext folder )
- Start your ERS Server
Note: This patch can be used for both ERS Designer and Server.
